The tube is made from elastomer of an appropriate thickness to give it the right mechanical resistance to compression and chemical compatibility to withstand transit of the various liquids pumped.
It is reinforced with 2, 4 or 6 textile inserts, varying in texture and number according to the required pressure resistance. The textile inserts are fundamental to allow the tube to return immediately to its original round shape after compression.
