Series and Models Rotho pumps for wine-making

The ability to avoid damaging the product is the Rotho peristaltic pump’s strongest point in the wine and must sector.

Characteristics of the PSF and MS series:
self-priming from 8.5 m making it possible to suck from great depth; maximum rotation 50/70 rpm; can operate dry; can be used to dose additives such as sulphur dioxide and bentonite with maximum precision and to transfer products at up to 95°C, such as cooked must.

PSF series

Ideal for transferring small quantities and above all for delicately filling and emptying casks. The pumps are ideal for bottling plants in which an analogue signal regulates flow rate. Last but not least, they can be used for precise in-line dosing of additives and enzymes like bentonite, liquid sulphur dioxide, gum arabic and silica sol, even at high pressure.

MS series

For applications requiring medium flow rates and delicate transfer of heterogeneous products like pomace and whole clusters of grapes and fragile sensitive products like wines and musts during ageing.

SDF series

For applications requiring medium/high flow rates of heterogeneous products like pomace and whole machine-harvested grape clusters, together with fragile and sensitive products like wines and musts. Ideal for pumping over long distances and/or from considerable depths and for pumping very delicate products requiring a wide bore.

SDR series

For applications requiring very high flow rates of heterogeneous products like pomace and whole machine-harvested grape clusters, together with fragile and sensitive products like wines and musts. Ideal for pumping over long distances and/or from considerable depths and for pumping very delicate products requiring a wide bore.
